Book an appointment - Step-by-Step

• Services that require an appointment:
  • PC8 NEW passport application (first passport, first adult passport, name change, replacement of a lost/stolen passport)
  • Emergency passport applications ( please contact [email protected] or [email protected] before you book the appointment)
  • Witnessing of signatures
  • Certifying copies
  • Apostilles on divorce certificates, education certificates, and police clearance certificates
• Services that can be done by post:
  • PC7 Adult RENEWAL Application
  • PC8 Child RENEWAL Application
  • Apostilles for hard copy documents (e.g. birth certificates, marriage certificates)

• Passport and Notarial Services are by appointment only - walk-ins are not accepted
• Bring valid photo ID - you will be asked to show ID when entering the Embassy/Consulate-General
• Arrive 5 minutes early
• Have all your documents ready when you are called
• For passports: Incomplete applications may be rejected, children under 16 years do not have to attend the appointment
• For notarials: Make sure you know how your documents need to be notarised - the notarial officer is unable to advise you
• Book one appointmnet per service

• There is no appointment fee, you will only be charged for the service provided 
• Service fees can vary each month depending on exchange rates
• In Berlin: Fees must be paid using Mastercard, VISA or American Express - all transactions are done in AUD
• In Frankfurt: Fees must be paid using any debit or credit card - all transactions are done in EUR
• Cash is not accepted

1. Select your desired service. Please make one appointment for each service you require (i.e. one appointment for each passport application you are lodging).
2. You will automatically be forwarded to the next available appointment. 
3. Enter your information.  We ask you to list an email address and a phone number so that you can receive appointment reminders and we can contact you if necessary.
4. Attend the Australian Embassy or Australian Consulate-General at your designated appointment time and bring the relevant documents for your passport application or your notarial service as well as valid ID. Incomplete applications may be rejected.
5. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please press the "cancel" or "reschedule" button in your appointment confirmation email.
