Australian Embassy Celebrating Centenary of International Women's Day
The Australian Embassy celebrated the centenary of International Women's Day by hosting a panel discussion at the Embassy on 8 March on the issue of mandatory quotas for women in top jobs.
Introduced by Sue McQualter, Counsellor and Consul-General, representatives from different backgrounds presented overviews of the current state of debate and added personal experiences from their perspectives: Katharina Schäder, of national daily Die Welt, Ilka Hartmann, Commerzbank, and Holly Oberle, Free University Berlin (pictured below from left).
