Certified Copies
You are requested to submit certain documents as certified copies (certified as true copy of the original). The appropriate certifying authorities vary from country to country. Specific country information, where available, is listed below. If your country is not one of those listed, you should have your documents certified by:
an official at your local registration or passport office; or
a notary public.
Please bring the original document and a photocopy of the original document to one of the following persons.

a justice of the peace
a magistrate
a commissioner for declarations
a commissioner for affidavits
a notary public
a pharmacist
an officer in an Australian Embassy, Australian Consulate overseas
In Germany
An official of your local registration office ("Einwohnermeldeamt", "Bürgeramt", Ausländeramt")
A priest or minister of your local (catholic or protestant) church parish
A notary public ("Notar")
In Switzerland
An official of your local registration/passport office
A notary public
In Sweden
An officer at your local police station
A notary public
In Denmark
